17/7-19/7: Villvin Applied Arts Market, Risør
Risør is renowned for its vibrant artists’ environment and skilled craftsmen. Many craftsmen have stands at this market.
7/8-9/8: Nytelsesfestivalen (Life’s Pleasures) in Grimstad
Paintings, music, erotica, good food, nature - Grimstad is the place for the good life this year also. "Enjoy life’s simple pleasures to the sounds of lapping waves and the cries of seagulls" – and of course, lots more!
31/7 - 3/8: Risør Wooden Boat festival
One of Southern Norway’s most tradition-enriched festivals. See Norwegian maritime traditions and boating life at its best, along the landings in Risør. You won’t find a better way to experience Southern Norwegian coastal culture.
7/8 - 10/8: Shellfish Festival, Mandal
The shellfish festival in Mandal is definitely one of summer’s highlights in Southern Norway. A party for the people with a focus on shellfish and seafood – not to be missed for those that love the delicacies of the sea!
