:: By train to Sørlandet

The train is a comfortable alternative when travelling to Sørlandet, whether you arrive from the east or west. With several departures daily you can arrive when it suits you. Departures from Oslo and Stavanger.

Kristiansand Station is located in the midst of the city. To get to Arendal you must either take the Arendalsbane Railway (connecting from Nelaug in Åmli municipality), or take a corresponding bus from Gjerstad.

There is a well-developed bus network for connections to other towns in Sørlandet.
